D. Mitchell Garner President & CEO
D. Mitchell Garner

Mitch Garner has been President of Symetrics since 2001, and has been with the company since 1986. Mr. Garner has a broad background in many areas of the company - especially operational management with extensive experience in procurement, manufacturing, contracts, and program management. Mr. Garner holds a BS degree in Chemistry, and has graduated from the Executive Institute at Stanford University.

W. Campbell Mckegg, Jr. Senior Vice President, CFO
W. Campbell McKegg, Jr.

Campbell McKegg has served as the Sr. Vice President of Accounting and Finance of Symetrics since May 1998. Mr. McKegg joined Symetrics in 1988 as Manager of Accounting. Mr. McKegg received his MBA from Emory University and graduated with a BA degree in Economics from Western Maryland College. Mr. McKegg is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Richard Snyder Senior Vice President, Advanced Programs
Richard W. Snyder

Rick Snyder has been with Symetrics since 2000, and has a wealth of experience and expertise in the company’s data links product area, especially the Improved Data Modem (IDM) product line. Additionally, he has served as Program Manager for all ALE-47 related programs for Symetrics. Mr. Snyder has over 25 years of experience in military systems, first having served as an officer in the United States Air Force, then at ARINC. Mr. Snyder has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MS in Management Science from the University of Dayton.

Jeff Rosson Corporate Vice President
Jeffrey K. Rosson, PE

Jeff Rosson is the Vice President of Engineering at Symetrics, and has been with the company since 1987.  He leads an engineering staff of 10 engineers, programmers and technicians. Mr. Rosson has 28 years of experience, mostly involved with military electronics as a design or test engineer, and has developed an expertise in high efficiency power supplies, telemetry data systems, audio power amplifiers and analog circuit design. He holds a BSEE from the University of Kansas, a MSEE from the University of Central Florida, and a MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is a registered Professional Engineer, a member of the IEEE, and he has also served as an adjunct instructor in analog circuit theory and digital design for the University of Central Florida.  

Michael Phillips Vice President, EMS Programs
Mike Phillips

Mike Phillips has over 35 years of Program Management, Manufacturing and Material Management experience, and has been with Symetrics since 1991. His primary role is in supporting DRS, a major customer of Symetrics, as Program Manager. He also manages the AN/ALQ-131B Memory Loader Verifier Set (MLVS) product line. Mr. Phillips is a Senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), and a Member of the Association of Old Crows (AOC). He has a BS in Political Science from Cumberland College and a BS in Business Administration from LaSalle University.

Matt Smith-Meck Vice President, Business Development
Matt Smith-Meck

Matt Smith-Meck joined Symetrics in May of 2009. He served over 20 years in the United States Marine Corps as both an EA-6B Electronic Counter-Measures Officer (ECMO) and an Acquisition Professional/Program Manager, attaining the rank of LtCol. Both a Project Management Professional and Association of Old Crows (AOC) Board of Directors member, Matt has a wealth of Electronic Warfare knowledge, especially in Rotorcraft Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE). Matt has a BA in Economics from the University of Florida and an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix.

Peter Volkert Vice President, Operations
Peter Volkert

Peter Volkert has been with Symetrics Industries since 2003. Having served as Manager of Configuration Management and Director of IS, he is currently the Vice President of Operations, overseeing Manufacturing, Purchasing, Inventory, Quality, and IS. Following 9 years as a pilot in the Air Force, Peter brought 20 years of Manufacturing and Quality experience to Symetrics, including 13 years with Texas Instruments. Peter has a BS degree in Chemistry from UNH and an MS in Education from USC.

Paul Markland Director, Manufacturing
Paul Markland

Paul Markland has been with Symetrics Industries since 2004. He is currently Director of Manufacturing, overseeing all Manufacturing and Shipping operations. Paul brought Eighteen years of Manufacturing and Test experience, including fourteen years with Nortel Networks as Director of Manufacturing and four years of engineering experience at ILC Data Device. Paul has an AAS degree in Electrical Technology as well as a vocational school diploma in various electronic technologies. Paul has also completed Management training at American Management Association NYC as well as APICS training in supply chain management.

Steve Dretzka Director, Quality
Steve Dretzka

Steve Dretzka first hired in 2002 as Symetrics Quality Manager currently holds the position of Quality Director. His prior 19 years of experience in Quality Assurance Management/Engineering and Manufacturing Management positions were for companies involved with the design, manufacture and testing of PCB’s for military, government and aerospace applications. As Director of Quality and the Delegated Management Representative his responsibilities include the development and oversight of all Quality Management System (QMS) activities for Symetrics Industries, LLC.

Bill Stetson Director, Materials
Bill Stetson

Bill Stetson joined Symetrics in February of 2010. Bill has 30 years of manufacturing, engineering and material management experience including 27 years with Tyco Electronics PCG in various management positions including Program Manager, General Manager and Director of Operations EMEA. As Materials Director his responsibilities include supplier performance, procurement, inventory control and manufacturing support.
